Ladies & Gentlemen.. Elvis May have Left the Building.. but. The World Champion is In The House!! We are joined by the 4 Time NWA World Champion "Scrap Iron" Adam Pearce. "Scrap Iron" just returned from a tour of Australia where he successfully defended his championship and is now preparing for a number of different challengers in different geographic areas. From Arizona, to Canada.. to Florida.. The NWA Championship is being defended and represented to the highest level as Adam Pearce continues "One Last Ride".

One event that has gotten our attention: Thursday March 29th, 2012, at the NWA Ring Warriors show in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.. Mr. Pearce has accepted the challenge from ROH Executive Jim Cornette to defend the NWA World Championship against a Hand Picked Mystery Opponent. Considering the mutual respect that is openly in place between Mr. Pearce and Mr. Cornette this looks like a new chapter in their 'friendly rivalry' in Pro Wrestling. Speculation abounds as to who the opponent will be, and Adam offers insight as to how he would handle certain opponents. There has been a friendly 'war of words' on the internet.. and Adam offers up a new direct message to Jim Cornette. Will Mr. Cornette respond in our forum? Tune in next week and find out.

A number of regular listeners will remember Adam from his appearance on our show a few months back during our discussion of the proceedings of the Alabama Athletic Commission regarding Mixed Martial Arts. Since his last appearance on the show.. The Commission has put things together to where the State of Alabama is now able to sanction, license and hold Amateur and Professional MMA events.

Sportfight X will be hosting their inaugural event, in this new era of MMA in Alabama, on Saturday March 31st Huntsville, Alabama, at the South Hall of The Von Braun Civic Center. They'll be featuring some great Amateur and Pro talent from Alabama and Georgia. Mark comes on to tell us about a very special event: The Will Grason Memorial Tag Team Invitational. For those who know Mark.. and knew Will... Will was a great fan of Tag team Wrestling. This is a very special Birthday Memorial show for Will featuring some Great Tag Teams from around the region.
